Changing History One Vote at a Time

I once heard that "a walk of 1,000 miles begins with one step." In the case of ending adverse possession, the journey begins with one vote. That is how this repugnant law will change -- by the votes of those who control legislative power -- those who hold the seats in State Justice Committees.

In Virginia, the key votes to ending legalized land theft are all listed on this page: http://www.richmondsunlight.com/committee/senate/courts/

These 14 people who comprise the Senate Courts of Justice Committee determine whether people in Virginia can legally steal their neighbor's property -- OR -- these 14 people can do the right thing and abolish legalized land theft for good in Virginia.

Please, e-mail or call each of the 14 people (a simple click on the link above will allow you to directly e-mail each person). Ten minutes is all it takes to tell them that you support SB 67 and that adverse possession needs to end now.

We are 14 steps closer to ending legalized land theft -- 14 votes away from changing history!
